I brought my 3 customers who will actually stay. (I made reservation for them). The hotel immediately told me that “you are not travel agency, right? Well, please leave this place at once if you will not stay.” Yes. I am the one who searched expensive hotel and made reservation for my customers, but I am not worth of hotel’s customer.I told they “I have never experienced like that. So rude.” I officially complained by email, and they told me that I should watch my mouth in front of people. (Well there were no other customers. Only staff.) even if I found good customers who paid $1500/ night, they treated me like not worth of it.It is one of the very bad service experience I ever had.Anyway, I did not trust them even if they can speak English. So I went to their room together. At the elevator, their staff talked each other loud “what? There were more than 3 people. There should be 3 people, right?”I could not imagine they talked like that customer could hear!Next day morning, my customers asked me whether they could go outside in Japanese beautiful garden or not. I asked the staff and she told me “on winter time, you cannot enter.”(it was 14th. April. No snow/ rain for 1 week.)I told her “then why geta shoes are outside? If outside is not maintained, it is big problem as high standard hotel. If geta shoes is difficult, they can use their own shoes.” And the staff replied “it is hotel rule.” That is it! She did not ask manager or gave me any logical answer!! I could not believe what I heard from high standard hotel staff. I told my customers, and they were not happy at all. (I apologized them that I recommended this hotel)I asked my customers what are good points of this hotel. They said “location, hot spring, and a lot of food.” That is it... I can tell you. There are many better hotel for service and cost performance in Hokkaido and other part of Japan. It makes me thing what is expensive hotel and Japanese service. You can can experience what I experienced there with more than $1000 per night if you would like to know.
