El hotel es viejo y no lo han mantenido. El personal no habla inglés y tampoco fue amable para resolver dudas. Poca disposición para responder correos y adaptarse a una alimentación requerida.
As I did not want to walk far from the train station as I had my elderly mother with me, decided to go with this hotel. I must say I made the right choice, the hotel is less than 10min walk from the Hakone Yumoto station but one would need to note that the hotel name is in Japanese / Chinese so best to do a google map search to get the directions right. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, though most of the staff do not speak English they each tried their best to provide the service, at times had to use the google translator to communicate which was not an issue.
We opt for the private onsen room with half board meals, they were both excellent - meals wise - dinner was always something I look forward to, it was traditional jap cuisine. They have both indoor and outdoor onsen, which was great, the outdoor onsen had views of the mountain which is pleasant and relaxing to look at. Excellent service, excellent view with the river. It was super serene/tranquil and the sound of the river made it easy to sleep. Very clean and delicious meals! Ladies onsen was also amazing You could only set heater on for the aircon. Couldn’t set it to cool air so it was hard to sleep for one night. Excellent service, excellent view with the river. 予約したお部屋より広いお部屋にしていただき有難うございました。温泉は広々してゆったり入れました。露天風呂も気持ち良いです。季節の会席料理も種類が多く、美味しく楽しめました。お部屋食でゆっくり出来、朝茶をサービスして下さり癒されました。また、行きたいです。
リフレッシュできました。
突如決めた旅でしたが、駅から近く、宿からコンビニまでも近く、立地も最高、宿も最高でした。川側のお部屋、部屋も綺麗で景色も最高、お風呂も広く、また泊まりたい宿です。素敵なひと時をありがとうございました!
